- 5 / 5By ed kDon't mind the nondescript exterior. The interior is roomy and comfortable. Service was great. The menu has an enormous selection of excellent dishes, along with specials clearly marked by days of the week.
We ordered the Texas Fajitas for two and were blown away by the food - generous portions and a flavorful mix of chicken, beef, shrimp, and chopped onions and peppers.
It is always a challenge finding good food along 81. Anything that isn't a fast food place attached to a gas station is a total mystery. When my wife and I want to eat at a restaurant, we don't want to risk going to an unknown place and have a bad experience. However, Muchacho Alegre is fantastic and we will be returning. We can recommend this place to anyone facing the quandary of finding a good place to eat.March 27, 2017
